ForearmClinical vignetteNew card

A 28-year-old man raises his forearm to shield himself from a blow with a stick. The proximal forearm is deformed and tender, elbow movement is painful and restricted, and he cannot extend his fingers fully. Radiographs show a proximal ulnar fracture; the radiocapitellar line does not pass through the capitellum.
